Connect directly with Local 706 make-up artists and graduates of Vancouver Film School’s 1-year Makeup for TV/Film program. Toryn Rizzo (Key Artist for ‘Dead to Me’, ‘Barry’, Emmy nominated for ‘Picard’, Class of 2012) and Shannon Trigger (TikTok, YouTube Content Creator and Educator @MakeupByShannonMarie, Class of 2014) are extending an invitation for portfolio reviews.

Whether you bring your portfolio book, share website links or just present specific photos, this is your chance to receive industry insights and chat with artists can empathize with your journey!

Beauty Demo – Ashunta Sheriff

Ashunta is a trailblazing beauty industry veteran with over two decades of experience, renowned for her unique and flawless clean beauty technique. Her innovative approach to makeup has garnered the attention of prestigious brands like Dior, Biore, Codex Beauty, Armani Beauty, Mary Kay, Cover Girl, Nair, Simple Beauty, Milani, Elizabeth Arden, Loreal, Smashbox, Jane Iredale, and many more, leading to impactful collaborations in the world of social media and magazines.

Bridal Beauty – Richard Espinoza

Richard is a Los Angeles native with over 14 years of experience in the beauty industry. He is dual licensed in cosmetology and esthetics from Citrus College, Glendora, California.

Richard has created his own unique style, based on bringing out the inner beauty of his clientele. He tastefully applies cosmetics to enhance one’s natural features, rather than camouflaging them.

His work has been featured in print, TV and film, fashion and red-carpet special events. Richard’s ultimate passion is teaching makeup and skin care. Over the course of his career, Richard has taught over 2,000 students in a variety of beauty institutes, and privately in his salon studio based in Hollywood, CA.

Career Advice for Beauty Artists

Roshar is an international makeup artist based in Los Angeles, with work featured in VOGUE, Harpers BAZAAR, ELLE, GLAMOUR, Marie Claire among many other publications.Since early childhood Roshar had a fascination with painting and fashion. Immersed in the underground club scene of the late 80s and early 90s, Roshar explored the world of role play and costumes, that further complimented his way of looking at things.
