Alessandro Bertolazzi

Alessandro Bertolazzi has enjoyed a longtime collaboration with director David Ayer. The two have teamed up on numerous projects, including Fury, Bright and Suicide Squad—which earned Bertolazzi the 2017 Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling Oscar alongside Giorgio Gregorini and Christopher Nelson. Bertolazzi’s other recent credits as hair and make-up designer include The King, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, To the Wonder and The Impossible. He has worked as a personal make-up artist for Javier Bardem, Naomi Watts and Monica Bellucci. Bertolazzi’s work as make-up department head on Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu’s Biutiful earned him a nomination for a Mexican Ariel Award for Best Makeup.
Duncan Jarman

Duncan Jarman

Duncan Jarman has worked in motion pictures as a prosthetic make-up artist for more than 20 years. He is a two-time Emmy winner and was nominated recently for a BAFTA and an Academy Award for his work on The Revenant.  Jarman’s film credits include The Grand Budapest Hotel, Saving Private Ryan, The Aviator, Band of Brothers, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
Einat Dan

Einat Dan

Israel-born Einat Dan is a multiple award-winning make-up artist working globally in fashion, beauty and body painting. Her clients have included Jean Paul Gaultier, Tommy Hilfiger, Valentino, Fendi, Vivienne Westwood and others, and she has worked on fashion shows worldwide. Her work has appeared in Vogue, Elle, Posh, InStyle, Maxim, Tatler and other publications. Dan has a passion for creating fashion films—as writer, director, producer and make-up artist. She teaches international master classes and workshops for professional make-up artists. In 2012, she created her line of beauty brushes, M.i.A by Einat Dan. 

Jordu Schell

Jordu Schell is a renowned American sculptor and concept artist who has been working in the film and television industries for more than 25 years. Films for which Schell has designed creatures and characters include Predator 2, Men in Black, Alien: Resurrection, Avatar, The Mist, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Edward Scissorhands, Creature of Darkness, Dragonball Evolution and more. Schell also teaches sculpting and design at his Chatsworth, Calif. studio.


Lucy Sibbick

Lucy Sibbick has worked in film and television for 14 years as a make-up, hair and prosthetic artist. Her credits include Beautiful People, Exodus: Gods and Kings, Game of Thrones and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Sibbick also worked for Coulier Creatures. This year she won a BAFTA, an Academy Award and a Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Award for her work on Darkest Hour, along with Kazuhiro Tsuji and David Malinowski.

Rod Maxwell

Rod Maxwell

Award-winning special make-up effects artist and director Rod Maxwell has melded digital and practical effects for more than two decades in projects including his film The Wishing Well. He created the Flesh Master Color System and Flesh Master game for iOS to help artists learn color matching. He also teaches Cinema Makeup School classes on out-of-kit make-up effects, advanced prosthetics, creature maquette and digital effects. Maxwell is a former Face Off competitor.

Stuart Bray

Stuart Bray is a freelance make-up effects artist who has worked in film and TV since 1994. He specializes in all aspects of prosthetic make-up manufacturing, from design to sculpting, molding and application. His credits include Gladiator, Shaun of the Dead, Stardust and Doctor Who. He also runs a blog, teaches his own workshops and teaches at several make-up schools.
Tristan Versluis

Tristan Versluis

Born in Zimbabwe, Tristan Versluis lives in England and specializes in prosthetics and special make-up effects. He’s worked in film, TV, advertising and music videos and is renowned for his fine sculpture, eye for color and ability to create “truly imaginative, believable characters.” Versluis’ credits include Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Dark Night RisesWorld War Z, The Revenant and more. He’s won an Emmy for Outstanding Prosthetic Makeup for Games of Thrones Season Four and he's currently the supervisor on Annihilation.

Ve Neill

Ve Neill is one of the most renowned make-up artists in the motion picture business. She has earned 21 international nominations that include eight Oscar nominations. She won three Academy Awards for Beetlejuice, Mrs. Doubtfire and Ed Wood, two Emmys for Pee-wee’s Playhouse and The Shining and a BAFTA for Pirates of the Caribbean. Neill created space travelers for Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Galaxy Quest; rock ‘n’ roll vampires for The Lost Boys; transformed Johnny Depp into Edward Scissorhands, Jack Sparrow, Ed Wood and Sweeney Todd; and Robin Williams into Mrs. Doubtfire. She’s been a judge on the hit TV series Face Off and was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award by Local 706. She has three films coming out this year: Shock and Awe starring Woody Harrelson and James Marsden, A Star is Born starring Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga and the quirky new life-inspired film Welcome to Marwen starring Steve Carell and Leslie Mann.
