Siân Richards shows us that changing an actor’s skin tone on camera is tricky and multifaceted. Her groundbreaking work changing Queen Latifah from light-skinned daytime TV host to espresso-toned blues singer Bessie Smith in HBO’s movie Bessie featured many challenges. Richards will demonstrate how to change someone’s skin color while still keeping the skin alive and vital for close-up HD digital work.
