Michael Davy

Born in Canton, Ohio, Michael Davy began his make-up career with his father, Dick Davy, in 1974 as a “masker” for the Masonic Scottish Rite at age 12 and became a member of the Dick Smith “School of the Telephone.” In 1988 Smith sponsored Davy into IATSE Local 798 and is celebrating his 30-year membership anniversary this year. Throughout his career Davy has developed many innovative products used by many world-class make-up artists today, including Water–Melon , Silicolor, Collodacolor, Foaming Sponge Gelatin and more.
