‘Star Wars’ Make-up Artist Bill Corso Joins IMATS Vancouver 2015

Oscar winner and academy governor Bill Corso will be a keynote speaker for IMATS Vancouver 2015. Details coming soon to the Schedule page.

Corso and Dennis Liddiard were nominated this year for an Achievement in Makeup and Hairstyling Academy Award for their work on Foxcatcher. Corso previously won an Oscar for Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events (2005). His film work includes John Carter, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Planet of the Apes and the upcoming Star Wars: Episode VII—The Force Awakens. He has been Harrison Ford’s make-up artist and has created multiple Halloween make-ups for Heidi Klum. In 2014 Corso founded the Digital Make-up Group, which aims to combine make-up and digital effects.
