‘Darkest Hour’ Discussion to be the Light in Your Weekend
The 2017 movie Darkest Hour pushed the bounds of make-up artistry. The talented team of make-up artists not only turned Gary Oldman into Winston Churchill but wowed the entire industry and took home the BAFTA and Oscar for best make-up and hair.
Now, at IMATS London, prosthetic make-up supervisor David Malinowski will discuss the iconic transformation with Make-Up Artist magazine’s publisher, Michael Key.
Malinowski is the founder of a special effects studio and numerous credits on incredible films and TV shows like London’s Burning, Merlin, The Wolfman, Iron Lady, The Revenant and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Talk about #careergoals!
You’re not going to want to miss this discussion. This is like Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar win, like Doctor Who’s milestones, like the Maggie Smith of acting. This is one of those rare occasions, where you’ll be witnessing history in the making.
