Luisa Abel

Luisa Abel is a highly acclaimed make-up artist, who recently worked as the Make-up Department Head/Designer on Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Abel has  worked with Christopher Nolan as Designer/Department Head on his last six films, including (in addition to Oppenheimer) Tenet, Dunkirk, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Rises and Inception. Notably, Abel has also Department Headed Ben Affleck’s Air, Rian Johnson’s Knives Out, Clint Eastwood’s The Mule and American Sniper, Ang Lee’s Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk and Gemini Man, and Wally Pfister’s Transcendence.
