After graduating from make-up school in April 1998, Candice Stafford applied to the local IATSE film union and was granted membership in 2001. Since then she has worked on countless film and television productions both assisting and as head of department. Now, as the co-chair of the make-up department for IATSE Local 891, Stafford is focused on keeping members’ skills at world-class levels and ensuring standards are maintained.

Siân Richards is a single mother of two and an award-winning make-up artist. Richards has worked in every avenue that make-up demands, from editorial to special effects. She won The People’s Critics Choice Award for transforming Halle Berry in Cloud Atlas
and was Emmy and 706 Guild Award nominated for her transformation of Queen Latifah into ’30s blues icon Bessie Smith. Richards was the personal make-up artist to Chadwick Boseman on Black Panther
, Avengers: Infinity War
and others. She wrapped Avengers 4 (Untitled) this year. She also has a successful brand called Siân Richards London.
Hailing from South Africa, Werner Pretorius is an effects veteran with 23 years of film experience as a sculptor and designer. After majoring in Fine Arts and Puppeteering in South Africa, Pretorius started work in the film industry there before coming to Canada in 2005. Pretorius spent 8 years working at Mastersfx as art director and being one of the lead artists there, he had the unique opportunity to design and create many of their projects. In 2015 He combined his talents with Richard Darwin to create Amazing Ape Productions.
