Dannica Lamoureux

Also known as @DannicaDots, Dannica Lamoureux is a make-up artist, educator and trainer with over two decades of industry and sales experience. She is best known for her unique training and catchy soundbites. Lamoureux’s magnetic personality and on-camera presence has landed her many media opportunities. A tomboy at heart, with a flair for beauty and artistry, she is always looking to push creative boundaries and inspire those around her to do the same. Throughout her career she has worked on celebrity clients including Kehlani, Ria Mae, Martin Short and Gord Bamford. In her current role in Montreal, as Make Up For Ever Canada’s national educator, Lamoureux creates, builds and facilitates all educational trainings for the Canadian field teams. She is well known for her strategic storytelling abilities, and makes learning fun and accessible by demystifying product knowledge and sharing relatable experiences.

Kevin James Bennett is known across the industry as one of the most product-driven, business-focused artists of a generation. Not only is he an Emmy Award winner and incredibly successful make-up artist, he is a leader and educator in all aspects of the industry, an inspirational voice and, without a doubt, one of the most intensive product experts.  

Matthew Richard

Matthew Richard (also known as @mattmakeup) is a Montreal-based professional make-up artist and influencer relations lead for MAKE UP FOR EVER Canada. After graduating from Vanier College in 2012 in business management and marketing, Richard chose to pursue a career in the field of make-up. Following his love and passion for all things make-up and artistry, he began his career at Sephora Ste-Catherine in Montreal where he remained for five years and quickly advanced from a beauty adviser to a senior artist. Richard transitioned to a more corporate, beauty role when he began at Make Up For Ever in 2017.

Megan Garmers

Megan Garmers is the founder and director of New York City-based make-up services company MG Hair and Makeup. She sits on the Make-up Designory Advisory Committee and is often quoted in The Knot’s national and regional magazines and in various online wedding blogs. She is The Knot China’s Western Beauty Expert and spoke at the multicity tour of The Knot's National Night of Beauty. She also travels nationally to teach hair, make-up and business classes for make-up brands and schools.

Mike Hill

Mike Hill is an award-winning sculptor from the north of England. His credits include The Wolfman, Men in Black 3 and American Horror Story. This January he was nominated for a BAFTA for his work on The Shape of Water.  Hill’s skill in capturing likenesses began at the age of 4, when he started digging clay from a riverbank. He is known primarily for his highly realistic silicone sculptures and portraits. His work is sought by collectors such as Guillermo del Toro, Peter Jackson and Greg Nicotero.

Stan Edmunds

Stan Edmonds has been a motion picture make-up artist for more than 30 years. He worked with Clint Eastwood on his Academy Award-winning film, Unforgiven, and has served as head of department on films like Scary Movie, The Butterfly Effect and I, Robot, For the past 10 years, Edmunds has served as the Department Head of Make-up Design at Vancouver Film School. His experience from industry and make-up education has honed his ability to give insightful critique on portfolios in the areas of photography, presentation and categories. Over the past decade, Edmunds’ students have gone on to have productive careers in make-up and win many awards, including 65 IMATS wins internationally. Tami Lane

Tami Lane

When Tami Lane was in college she took a tour of KNB EFX Group Inc. where she met Howard Berger and Greg Nicotero. This meeting changed her life. Two weeks after graduating, in May 1996, Lane moved to L.A. and started work at KNB. Thus, her career in make-up effects began. In 1999, Lane traveled to New Zealand to work on The Lord of the Rings trilogy where she reunited with Berger for the The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe—both were awarded the Academy Award for Best Makeup in 2006. Lane was again nominated in 2012 for her work on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and for an Emmy in 2016 for Sons of Anarchy. Lane currently resides in L.A. and continues to work around the world. 
Thomas E. Surprenant

Thomas E. Surprenant

Thomas E. Surprenant has been a make-up artist for more than 30 years and has developed products and techniques to further the craft. He has been nominated for three Emmys and has won twice. Surprenant has also been part of two Academy Award-winning make-up crews and has received a Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild award. He has contributed to Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, the Syfy show Defiance and has designed brushes for the Bdellium Tools SFX line.
