Brigitte Reiss-Andersen feels that “fashion make-up is a language, continually evolving and reflecting the current mood and times.” Fashion make-up needs to be cool and tell a story. In this class, Reiss-Andersen will talk about the history of fashion make-up, her career and how it continually evolves. She currently resides in New York and continues to travel the world working in fashion, commercial and celebrity bookings.
Roque Cozzette will discuss and demonstrate how to create vivid color for photography. He will explain the use and placement of color and product, including highlighting and contouring, while using Cozzette Brushes, Infinite Makeup and Infinite Eyeshadows. In addition he will demonstrate the integration of color mixology and how the layering process can elevate your make-up looks. He will also discuss etiquette and relationship-building with photographers to ensure that what you see is what you get, going into great detail about creating with intention, selecting the right brush and product to create the best photo payoff.

Before he was a lighting specialist, Michael Astalos (right) was a professional photographer. After marrying a professional make-up artist in 1990, he built the first make-up station incorporating both daylight and tungsten lamps in a portable system that would become the industry standard for film, TV and commercials. In this presentation, Derek Kelly will host a Q&A session and Astalos will join via Skype from London—along with a surprise guest.
