VAN17: Valli O'Reilly

Valli O’Reilly won an academy award for her work on A Series of Unfortunate Events in 2005.  Since then, O’Reilly has worked on Alice in Wonderland as make-up designer for Tim Burton, on various television projects, and as personal make-up artist for Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Dustin Hoffman, and Sharon Stone among others.  To train for a career in make-up, O’Reilly suggests, “Get some type of art training.  Learn what highlight and shadow is all about.  Art school helps with that.  Also, keep all your opinions about the people on the show, other make-up and hair people, to discuss at home, not in the trailer.”
