Tami Lane

When Tami Lane was in college she took a tour of KNB EFX Group Inc. where she met Howard Berger and Greg Nicotero. This meeting changed her life. Two weeks after graduating, in May 1996, Lane moved to L.A. and started work at KNB. Thus, her career in make-up effects began. In 1999, Lane traveled to New Zealand to work on The Lord of the Rings trilogy where she reunited with Berger for the The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe—both were awarded the Academy Award for Best Makeup in 2006. Lane was again nominated in 2012 for her work on The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey and for an Emmy in 2016 for Sons of Anarchy. Lane currently resides in L.A. and continues to work around the world.
