Caroline Hernandez

It was the Punk scene in northeast England that ignited the imagination of senior artist Caroline Hernandez. The iconic counter-culture inspired Hernandez and gave her determination. She received a scholarship to study at the London College of Fashion. Simple make-up on beautiful skin is her mantra. And her aesthetic remains imbued with a strong sense of theater. These days Hernandez juggles working backstage at fashion weeks, behind-the-scenes on TV dramas, preparing celebrities for public appearances and teaching. But there will always be a place in her heart for the likes of Siouxsie Sioux, Adam and the Ants and David Bowie.
