Buffy Reunion Panel to Slay at IMATS Vancouver
IMATS Vancouver is bringing attendees a rare and exciting panel in 2017! Members of the make-up team from the famed TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer will sit down with our publisher of Make-Up Artist magazine and producer of IMATS—Michael Key—for a reunion/discussion panel extraordinaire.
Make-up legends Todd McIntosh, Thomas Surprenant and David De Leon will join us onstage, as well as actress Juliet Landau who played Drusilla.
McIntosh has achieved two Emmy awards and 12 Emmy nominations. He won his first Emmy in 1998 for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and his second Emmy in 2009 for Pushing Daisies. De Leon is also an award-winning make-up artist whose clients include Sarah Michelle Gellar, Barbra Streisand and Jane Fonda. Surprenant worked on Buffy in 1992. He has been in the make-up industry for 30 years and has gone on to design brushes for Bdellium Tools SFX line.
This is truly an amalgamation of incredible talent. Don’t miss out!
Saturday, Oct. 14, from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. on the Open Forum Stage.
