FAQ

What is your age limit?

You must be 17 years or older to attend the Los Angeles, New York, and Toronto shows.
You must be 16 years or older to attend the London, Vancouver and Sydney shows.

Infants and Children under the age limit will not be admitted. Photo ID is required for entrance. As the world’s first-ever make-up artist trade show, we’ve always been open to the public. Our primary mission, however, has always been to serve make-up professionals. In order to meet artists’ needs and avoid overcrowding, we decided in April 2014 to change the age limit.

Is IMATS open to the public?

Yes, general-admission hours are open to the public (age restriction applies). IMATS Pro-Card Events are only open to Make-Up Artist magazine Pro-Card holders, and the date and times vary by city. We reserve the right to refuse service.

Do IMATS tickets sell out?

Yes! Several of our shows sell out prior to the event. We strongly advise that you purchase tickets online as soon as possible. We highly recommend buying event tickets before booking your flight or hotel. Once a day is sold out, tickets are not available to purchase at the door or over the phone.
