Have you ever wondered how lighting works in the world of makeup? Have you ever dreamed of working on the movies, TV or film? Are worried that you may look foolish on a production set because your work isn’t photographing correctly? Lighting is the key element that can define our work. If you answered yes, this class is for you!

Welcome to the Lighting for Makeup Artists101© workshop, by 2-time Emmy® Nominated makeup artist Sara Seidman Vance. Lighting for Makeup Artists101© is designed for anyone who want to understand the core values behind lighting technology both on set, and on location.

In this class you will learn:

-How correct lighting works to filter and create the perfect balance in makeup.

-How to be able to determine how your makeup will appear under different lighting circumstances.

-How to be able to interact with the Director of Photography or Lighting Designer with confidence.

Spaces is limited to 14 students only.

Certificate of Attendance will be provided on successful completion of the workshop by Sara Seidman Vance.

All students must attend the full workshop, complete the worknotes and demonstrations to the standards required by the course provider.

What to Bring:

-All students are requested kindly to arrive without wearing any makeup products, as you will all be working on each other. All students must have basic makeup skills.

-Full makeup and skin prep kit – foundations and highlighters for global skin tones (foundation palettes are great!)

-Makeup Brushes & brush cleaner
